Almost 2 kms from the temple is Tavi River, which is must visit with bit precautions as water level keeps on changing. On a clear night the well lit Mata Vaishno Devi climb can be seen on the slopes of the Trikuta hills.
Temple built by Pandvas is centre of attraction & first place where devotees offer their prayers.
At Kol Kandoli Temple, devotees also offer small red veils to Mata Vaishno Devi Ji, which I found in thousand in numbers here.
Apart from Mata Vaishno Devi, temple have assembled statues of many other Hindu Deities ranging from Lord Shiva to Navgraha’s.
At other end of Temple, we found a Sadhu (Saint) consuming Bhang with a huge Chilm, that moment was amazing & I was watching it for first time. I was afraid of getting near and capturing the moment, so I took it from bit far from the point. Later, I came nearer and asked him if I can get one picture of him or not but he refused. However, I had a shot already, so that was not a major concern.
